Synopsis: In the Shade of You
Aster Bristol is invisable. She can be seen and heard and touched, but nobody truly sees who she is.
But Daniel sees. Not only does Daniel see Aster but he seeks her out, searches through her mysteries. He is determined to bring all of her into the light.
As much as Aster craves to shed her invisibility, as much as Daniel loves and needs Aster, their shared quest is harder than they thought.
Excerpt: In the Shade of You
I’ve never thought I was beautiful. Although looking at pictures of myself as a child I can see the cuteness; big brown eyes certainly helped. But something happened along the way. Perhaps it was my Dad getting sick, or my Mum collapsing after the funeral? Perhaps it was having to live with my Granddad until I was ten… whatever it was, I forgot to be somebody, instead I disappeared. I became invisible.
