Synopsis: Longitude zero

Go on an adventure with Emily, Colin, George and Luke.
It'll be a little bit of everything, it's kind of fantasy, kind of science fiction and kind of humor. I love it and hope to finish it someday ;D

Chapter 1 - The contract

When the call came, she had no clue that this time something special was waiting for her. The call was not very different from the previous hundreds of calls she received in the recent years. She asked for what has happened, jotted down the address and hung up. Then she grabbed her bag, and her mind tumbled with the list of things she must not forget. When she was sure that she's gotten everything, she went to the door, took the key from the hook and went out. A minute later she struggled with the lock and entered the apartment again, because she realised that she forgot the note she just wrote down at the telephone. She was almost out the door again when she turned on her heels and quit down the hallway whining, to grasp the battery pack she left on the commode.
Her heels clacked on the weathered wooden floor, and she looked back one last time to make sure that this time, she really got everything packed.
Satisfied and prepared of what to come, she slammed the door shut.
