Favorite novels: For an aspiring writer I don't read as much as I should... Firebringer Trilogy, Watership Down, The Sight, Lord of the Rings, anything from Song of Ice and Fire, Discworld, Hitchhiker's Guide, 1984... Harry Potter. I need to read more.

Favorite writers: Neil Gaiman. George R. R. Martin. Rowling, to a certain extent, Prachett and Douglas Adams, and of course Tolkien.

Favorite music: Normally a fantasy writer I use RadioRivendell, Led Zeppelin, Goo Goo Dolls and assorted movie/game soundtracks. I'm trying to write something more urban this year, so I'm delving into my metal collection, and NIN.

Non-noveling interests: Gaming is not a hobby, it's part of my life, as much as writing is. I can't afford as much as I'd like, but I'm a gamer through and through. Fan of things like Monty Python, Reduced Shakespeare, House MD... and DDR, though I plainly suck at it.
