“Your Majesty,” the messenger said, bowing as she entered the queens bedroom. “Her Royal Highness Queen Emmeline of the Fair Folk wishes me to congratulate you on the birth of your twins and to give them her blessings.” She stepped forward and gently took Kato. “You will be a strong leader; always in control. You were born to rule and you will fit into your place role well.” She gave him back to his mother and picked up Taika. The baby giggled and reached up, trying to grab at the messenger’s necklace. “You will be a happy child, won’t you?” The messenger smiled softly. “Forgive me for what I must do. You will be special. You will see things that others won’t and you will sense things that most have no knowledge of. Because of this you will never be truly accepted. You will find your only true friends are books, and your intelligence will be boundless. You have a very special role princess. I hope you do your duty well.” She gave the girl back to the speechless queen and turned to leave.
