Brief Author Bio:

I'd heard about Nano but did not really investigate the site until 2007. I got to see the paperbook a friend who had participated in 2006 self-published through Lulu and was determined to join the race in 2007. I did not win but enjoyed the attempt greatly. In 2008 I spent the late summer/early fall months reading through forums like "On reaching 50,000" and taking notes. I was so excited I wanted to start in September. I couldn't start Nano but I could start college which I did. So I had a successful start of one day and did not write much further. This year I have enlisted the aid of my feline companions to keep me on track. I figure if they can force me through persistant gestural prompts to change their litter boxes before I get my breakfast they can get me to write. I can't wait!!! >^^<

Synopsis: It IS All About the Food

Rommie is on a leave of absence from her job and going quietly out of her mind - until she turns to cooking to spice up her life. With a new reason to get up everyday she becomes obsessed with recipe experimentation. Everything is clicking along until she starts running out of freezer space. That's when she meets her new neighbor. Max is everything a hero from Rommey's favorite romance books should be. He's attractive, mysterious, and willing to eat her food. Rommey doesn't think about Max as a lover...until the day she realizes he looks at her as if she would be delicious too. Werewolves will eat anything, right?
