Synopsis:

Jonathan is a newly qualified solicitor at a London law firm. He’s conscientious, intelligent, a dead cert for a bright future at work. He has a good home life too: a gorgeous two bedroom flat in a fashionable part of town, an active social life, and a beautiful, livewire of a girlfriend, Amelia. Everything in his world seems perfect; he’s even planning to propose to Amelia.

And then, on her birthday, Amelia goes missing. And thus Jonathan’s desperate search to find her begins. The search which brings Kate to his front door; Kate who secretly works for the security services; Kate who is willing to use him to further her own ends; Kate who knows the truth about what exactly happened to Amelia.

Together, Kate and Jonathan’s search for Amelia takes them further into a tangled web of deception than they ever imagined, teaching them about themselves and about those they love, as they attempt to uncover a plot which threatens to destroy not only them but also the innocent lives of others.
