Synopsis: Convergence

Lira would like nothing to do with Theodore; he is a snotty privileged teenaged boy, who just so happens to be the son of the man who has ruined her life. Theodore wants nothing to do with Lira; she is heartless, ruthless and just as cruel as his father. But when the two are unexpectedly forced together and expelled into different surroundings, each of their conceptions of the other begin to crumble.

Excerpt: Convergence

All of a sudden Theodore found himself lying flat on the floor, the palms of his hands touching the gritty dirt of what he guessed was some cement walkway. He looked up blearily, and looked at his surroundings, which seemed eerily out of focus. Suddenly there was a hand, roughly yanking him upwards, and he felt the sense of vertigo press upon him, tightly churning his stomach.
“We need to go.” The hand pulled at him harder. “Now.” He was shoved roughly to his feet and looked at Lira, whose look of panic immediately scared the vertigo right out of him.
“What happened?”
“Move!”
She steered him roughly down the cobblestone street, and forced him into a small alleyway. She quickly peered behind the speckled wall, her eyes burning.
