Synopsis: The Price of Service

Delia is the only daughter of Jack Hawthorne, pirate. She has lived entire life on the sea and enjoys the thrill of chasing the ship’s prey through the Northern Atlantic waters off England. But when for the first time, their ship, the Greyhound, is captured by the French, Delia is given a choice. Become a spy on behalf of the French against the English or father and entire crew be tried for Piracy. Mercenary she is, she agrees, not caring whether the English or the French win the currently raging war. But as her espionage continues, she discovers a cause worthy of her efforts. A terrible choice is laid at her feet. Betray her masters and join England’s cause? Or continue to sell naval secrets to the French while being compensated handsomely and keeping her father from the gallows.
