Synopsis:
A vicious and brilliant hacker is on the loose, acting through the ubiquitous nanogrid to manipulate data and wreak havoc. He uses his skills to "kill" his victims, recording them as dead in the system and cashing in on their savings and life insurance benefits, redirected to a secure account in his name.
Sturm Liouville, a mind concert maestro by trade--a master manipulator of a personal cloud of nanobots--knows none of this. But he becomes wrapped up in the intrigue when his agent, Indigo D'Avignon, falls victim to the hacker's machinations. What follows is a tale of cyberpunk intrigue and electronic mastery, of epic chases from the streets of lower LA in the semi-sovereign state of California, to distant Africa and beyond, of concerts rendered in brilliant light and sounds, to the dark and unused sewers beneath the slums and ghettos of LA.
...At least, that's the idea so far.
