Synopsis: Rhapsody in Slate

War. It ravages the land, and its people. Countries rise and fall, and are o'ertaken. But life goes on.

Two years later, the country rebuilds. The daughter of the King heads south to inspect the land. A soldier sets out to defend his Lord. A man, laid low by coin, rises up to his new challenge. A Lord serves himself while advising the crown. A girl is caught up in the whirl of life. And a wandering minstel sets out from the east, unknown.
