Brief Author Bio: I like my coffee black. I order my steaks medium-rare. I prefer my sandwiches to be on multigrain bread. Most of the time I masquerade as a poverty-stricken college student, but my shopping and dining habits probably give me away for the inner preppy I really am. I'm a much bigger dork and far less social than most people would think, which is kind of both a good and a bad thing. I own an iPod, full of illegally downloaded indie music just like every other hipster-wannabe out there, and I'm the girl who sits next to you during Philosophy class doodling emo-looking little kids in polka-dotted dresses and Mary-Janes instead of taking notes or paying attention the prof, unless he happens to be hot. My sense of humour alternates between dry, witty, and too sharp for its own good, and I appear to have a great knack for insincerity. I am also probably the least motivated person out there, so it's very unlikely I'll ever graduate college and make my way into some reputable, decent-paying career, let alone finish this short novel. But I'm also an impregnable optimist, so I fully intend to give it my second-best shot. I'm sure I'll have fun failing miserably :) |
