Synopsis: Toys of the Gods
Insanity ensues as I realize I have to switch genres mid-month. Eeek! A god like creature, a group of tourists, and finding their way through a jungle should create a great novel!
Excerpt: Toys of the Gods
Georgette was the first to spot the monkey. It was sitting at on one of the tables, in a different section than the rest of us.
“Oh, how sweet.” She said and pointed in its direction.
The rest of us looked over and saw the single monkey sitting on the table, looking at us with innocent, doleful eyes. My immediate thought was of my dog, who had those same kind of eyes. Those same innocent eyes from a dog who could open cupboard doors and remove all of the Tupperware, climb up on kitchen counters to get at the doughnuts, and bury winter gloves deep in the back yard.
