Jeff, on the other hand, was not smiling. He was still fuming, “There are some things that should just be kept in private. The world doesn’t need to see what goes on inside someone’s bedroom…”

He trailed off as something on the news caught his attention.

“We are not sure yet what this might mean, but we’ve just caught wind that the head officials from seven of the most powerful corporations in the world have agreed to meet with each other later this week. We can only speculate on what this meeting may be about, but you can be sure that when you get that much power in one room, something big is going to happen. Together, these men could easily change the world as we know it. So far, we have only been able to confirm the following corporations to be involved: Google, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, and Wal-Mart. Stay tuned until the second half hour of the show where we will speculate on what the purpose of this meeting might be. We should also have more confirmed information to share with you by then.”

“So basically they are saying that is all they know about it, and if we hang around until the last five minutes of the show, they will make up some ‘information’ for us. Still, I wonder what it could all be about…” Jeff’s voice trailed off in thought.

Isabella thought he sounded a bit uneasy, “Don’t worry about it, I’m sure if it is something as major as they are making it out to be – which it never really is – then we will find out about it soon enough whether we really want to or not.”

“Yeah, I guess so…”

He still seemed kind of unnerved for some reason. Maybe it was all the built up stress from his job lately. “Come on honey, let’s get some sleep. You have got a big day ahead of you tomorrow. You’d better make sure you are rested up.”

He smiled and leaned over to kiss her before standing up to turn off the television. Then they walked down the hall to their room, stopping along the way to look in the nursery to make sure the baby was still sleeping.
