Brief Author Bio: I began writing in my teens. I'd been an active part of my local community theater group for a while and began by writing plays. I progressed form there to short stories, and eventually novels. While working on these, the performer in me took to the stage and I spent several years doing stand up in various comedy clubs, taking a class from Lisa Lampanelli and becoming a regular MC at a club in Simpsonville, SC. I have now combined the two interests by writing primarily comedic novels (though I do stray to the dark side every now and again with my short fiction.) This will be my third year competing with NaNoWriMo and hopefully my third year succeeding. I'd cross my fingers but it's so damn hard to type when you do that. |

Synopsis: Agent J's New Crusade
When Jason Reed, J to everyone outside his family, realizes how truly miserable his life as a talent agent is; his clients are all asses and the studios are all pains in the ass, he decides he needs some sort of outlet for his frustration.
He finds it at the wrong end of a pistol.
When his friend is held up by a man desperate for work, J realizes that he could use his down time getting work for the unemployable. At first the people he help think that he's just another rich guy trying to win some charity points. It doesn't take long for them to realize that he's just a rich guy looking for a hobby and they're it.
He doesn't really care for them and they can't stand him, but he gets to challenge himself and they get work so they all put up with one another, and so begins a beautiful, dysfunctional yet symbiotic relationship.
