Brief Author Bio: I'm an assistant manager and book merchandiser/buyer for an independent bookstore in Cleveland. I also get to work with local authors; helping them realize their dreams of selling their books inspires me to write. I tackled NaNo in 2007 and 2008 and got about 25k in before life kicked my butt. I'm thinking third time's the charm! |

Synopsis:
A few weeks ago I started reading what I thought would be a really good book. I couldn't get past page 80 -- the story went in the total opposite direction as the back jacket copy, the characters were flat, uninteresting, and with too many secrets the author was obviously not planning to reveal. On my way home from the Kick-Off party, I knew I had to write the story that author did not. The one that should have been written in the first place. Once I get started, I'll get a more specific description up but I feel like this might be "the one."
