Synopsis: We're All Mad Here

Allison Adelle Dreyer (or Addie, as she preferred to be called) has been sent to live in a psychiatric hospital because she stopped talking when her troubled older sister Madison disappeared six months ago. Nobody knows that she witnessed her sister's brutal murder, and that fear of retribution has kept her silent all this time. When a blind, kleptomanic teenager figures out a way to communicate with her using Morse code tapped out on the hospital's walls, an unlikely friendship is formed. Amidst a boiling feud between two of the hospital administrators over how to manage treatment of the more difficult patients, all hell breaks loose when Madison's killer is committed to the same hospital.

I'm simultaneously working to finish last year's novel, a ridiculous farce about a vampire who gets a ride with a teenager, and they both end up on the craziest adventure of their lives.
