Synopsis: Sunburned Prairie Boarder

Outdoorsy Toni is recruited by sophisticated Viola to help Viola win over Toni's best friend, Yvon (who's a bit of a ladies' man). In return, Viola helps Toni get a job at the local hula school so Toni can buy surfing equipment. Two of Toni's mates think that she should get Yvon herself, and try to make her more of a chick. Toni insists that she'd rather be Yvon's mate, cheers, but she can't deny that she's getting attracted to him. When Toni has trouble holding up her end of her bargain with Viola, co-worker Kekoa saves her from losing her job at the hula school. In a typical chick lit book, good boy Kekoa would end up with Toni. But Toni still owes Viola one, and who knows what Yvon thinks of all this?
