Alchemy & Eros
an excerpt

“My marriage is everything to me. I really need it to work or I'm lost.” Hart breathed heavily and wiped at the layer of perspiration on his forehead.
His marriage counselor was a beautiful woman and the shimmer in her dark eyes easily sent pleasurable shivers through him. She smiled in that uniquely sympathetic way she had. “Don't worry, Hart. Your marriage will be fine. I can guarantee it. You don't doubt my skills, do you?”
“Oh, no! Not at all, not at all.” He shook his head and leaned back against the arm of the couch.
“Good.” She tugged on his tie and it slithered off his neck. It had been the only thing he was wearing. She eased up off of him and stood up, pushing her skirt down from where it had gathered around her waist. She dropped the tie on the pile of clothes on the floor before adjusting herself in her black silk bra. “Come in with your wife for your regular appointment tomorrow. By the end of it, everything will have worked itself out.”
Hart dared to smile and almost seemed like he might cry for her. “I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of this, Miss Silver. Even after, you know, after this.... Everything you've done to help my wife and I.”
Her nimble fingers did up the buttons of her blouse and then she waved a dismissive hand at him. “Enough of that, Hart. Patricia wants you to be a strong man, remember? Besides, you are paying me and I don't come cheap.” She winked at him and then plucked a tissue from the box on the coffee table. She bent down to place it over his limp member and ease the condom off of him. “I'll just take care of this. You best get dressed and go home before she wonders where you are.”
Hart softly moaned as she touched him and removed the used rubber. “Yes. Yes, I should go home.” He did not move swiftly, though, and watched her walk across the room to her desk to throw the thing into the trash basket.
She smiled at him as if indulging a child and made a motion for him to finish dressing. “Sleep well tonight. Tomorrow will be the start of a new life for you and your family. And don't forget to bring your checkbook tomorrow.”
Laughing with relief and satiation, Hart tucked in his shirt and slipped on his shoes. “You are such a kidder, Miss Silver. I don't know why a man hasn't snatched you up as his wife yet. You'd have the most perfect marriage in all of history.”
She leaned against her desk. Her expression did not change with his comment. “I'm far too involved in my career, Hart. Perhaps one day, I'll be ready for it. Right now, I'm married to my job.”
“And so many are grateful for it, too.” Hart grinned and walked to the door. He paused with his hand on the knob. “I really am grateful, Miss Silver. Today was... it was like a fantasy come true, but once Patricia and I are okay again, you do understand-”
She shushed him and nodded. “I understand, Hart. It's how it was meant to be.”
Hart sighed and his shoulders slumped a little. “Thank you. Thank you so much.” He opened the door and looked at her with eyes of overflowing gratitude on various levels. As she waved at him, he went off into the reception area and the door drifted closed behind him.
She could hear her secretary saying her good-byes to him and then three seconds later, Emily slipped into the room. Though her blond hair was cut short, she had long bangs that she tucked behind her ears. She grinned and gave her an eager look. “So? How'd it go? I could see that dreamy look in his eyes, Magena. You best be glad that he doesn't fall in love with you.”
“If he did, it wouldn't matter. Tomorrow, he won't be able to think about anything other than his ugly little wife.” Magena sat down behind her desk and opened the top drawer. She took out an eye dropper and leaned over to the trashcan. She gingerly picked up the used condom and used the dropper sucked up a few drops of Hart's semen from within it. “Why a man who looks like that would marry a woman who looks like her, I'll never understand. Though, his lack of sexual talents could be the answer.”
Emily gave a snorting laugh. “So he wasn't very good then?”
Magena smirked. “He was either too stunned by what was happening or he's a dead fish in the sack. Well, not so dead.” She held up the dropped of sperm and then removed a small vial from the same drawer. She carefully flipped off the stopper and emptied Hart's cum into the pinkish mixture. She replaced the stopper and gave the potion a good shake. The fluid became clear of any color and she nodded, pleased with herself. “Did you check his accounts, Em? He might not be that bright, but I get the feeling his wife is stingy with their finances.”
“That's too bad. Hart's such a sensitive guy. I figured he would be the same way during sex.” Emily leaned against the desk. “I checked and you're right. She's got plenty squirreled away. That means we'll be charging them the Executive Amount, doesn't it?”
Placing the vial gently back in her desk, she closed the drawer and leaned back. Her blouse stretched across her ample breasts. “It most certainly does. You've been wanting that new software, haven't you? I do think we can mark it off as a business expense and you can get a new wardrobe instead.”
Emily's pale eyes lit up at the mention of the software. “Really? I can have it ordered and sent overnight within a minute!” She then realized she had been teased and folded her arms with a pout. “I thought you said bluish-gray would be a good color on me. I went out last time and bought three outfits this color, you know.”
Magena chuckled and stood up to come give her secretary and friend a hug. “The color is right, my dear. It's the cut. It's too harsh. You need to soften it up. You're a woman, not an army Sargent. And you're lovely. It'll only take the right outfit and then you can get yourself a lover that you see outside of your little computer world.”
“Gee, I love it when you're being supportive.” Emily grumbled but tucked away the suggestion within her keen mind. Magena Silver was not famous for just being the country's most successful marriage counselor, but she was a beauty that knew everything about men and sex. She also knew her employer knew a lot about women, too.
“That's what friends are for.” Magena winked at her and gave the blond a wee pat on the rear. “I'm going to shower off before the Carvers arrive. Make sure to have the coffee and tea set up to the side.”
Emily nodded and sighed. “I'll be glad that they're done today. That woman is a major bitch. She looks at me like she wants to scratch my eyes out.”
“She's got the nails for it.” Magena laughed as she headed to her personal bathroom at the rear of her office. “Besides, Michael is as much of a bastard as Helena's a bitch. They deserve each other and with my counseling skills, I'll see that they're together forever.”
“Yeah, right.” It was Emily's turn to laugh. “I'll put their vial in the usual spot then.”
“You're a sweetheart, Em.” The dark haired beauty smiled at her from the door of the bathroom and then closed it. The smile fell from her lips and she rolled her eyes. She didn't dislike the other woman, but sometimes she felt like a big sister, or worse, a mother to her. She hated that feeling. Emily was only eight years younger than herself and seemed like a child with her naivety.
She stripped off her clothes and tied her hair back loosely in a bun. Magena switched on the shower and let it warm up, reminding herself the real reason she had employed Emily as her secretary. She was a tech witch. Not just a whiz on the computer, but her magic was connected to technology. Emily could get past any firewall and into any server she desired. The cyber realm was much more her world than the real one. She was not so awkward or goofy looking as she once had been thanks to Magena's attentions.
Once the water was at the temperature she liked, Magena stepped into the stall and slid shut the fogged glass door. She rinsed all evidence of the sex she had with Hart from her body. He might feel guilty about the affair tonight, but it wouldn't have time to fester. Tomorrow, she would give Hart and Patricia the love potion she had made, and they would live happily ever after. The sentiment revolted her, but it made her a lot of money.
