This is a GRAPHIC novel by the way, drawing heavily from western and horror genres. This is not some ridiculously farfetched tale of a zombie apocolypse in the old west. This is some ridiculously farfetched tale of a revenge beyond the wall of death with zombies of the voodoo variety.
It looks like someone went and wrote Strangeways while this was stewing inside my brain though, and so I am jealous that they have already cornered my niche...
