I think the first sign that my life was going down the toilet was the fact that I met my boyfriend at a yard sale. A yard sale. Of all places to meet people, a yard sale. I mean, that's almost as bad as when you hear about people who meet in line at Wal-Mart or after they’ve just gotten into a car accident. (Believe me, it’s happened. Ingrid’s parents met after they got into a fender bender on 89. They exchanged numbers in case there was any significant damage to either car and a year later they were married. Crazy shit.)
But a yard sale? That’s exceedingly lame.
