The professor slumped into a chair. It was over, Zuchi was gone. She would not wake up again, either here or inside. All her thought patterns had been erased. The professor closed his eyes and prayed to whatever gods were currently in favor that there would be some form of redemption for what he had hidden in her. The perverse abomination must not succeed. He only hoped that he had done enough.
