Synopsis: The Only Things That Echo

Theone is mad. Really, really mad. You see, it's aggravating day in and day out when people mispronounce your name and get your identity wrong. It's hard to get jobs, it's hard to make friends, it's hard not to snap every time someone asks if you are 'the one.' Just because 'the one' is part of all the ancient prophesies doesn't mean that's who she is! So she's made up her mind: She's going to legally change her name.

The only problem is, she's a healer. She can't get through the wilderness that lays between herself and the capital alone, so she'll have to pair up with the only paladin she can find - a foppish rich young man who thinks he can bribe the monsters they run into to leave them alone. Will she make it? Will they let her changer her name? Or will she snap and leave Roger in the wilderness alone?
