Sakomi sighed deeply and stuck the guitar to the side in its case. She cast a glance at the black gloves Taiga had given her to hide her new identity… as the Bishop of the Checkmate Four.

The tattoo now sitting prominently in on the middle of her right hand bore the symbol of the Bishop… the Fangire whose job it was to know all that needed to be known. She sighed. She did not want this role, just as Mio had not desired her role as Queen.

But since when had it mattered what she wanted anymore?

She knew that something was up now… a change in the air. She could feel it. She had overheard her mother telling Kivat about it some weeks ago. And just as Mio was, she was worried for the safety of her younger brother Otoya. Otoya had no power.
