Synopsis: Our voices raised

In a land of heros and marvels, it is the voices of those in the background who often tell the most interesting tales.

Disclaimer
The characters in these stories are entirely fictional. This does not mean they are not subject to the same respect and common decency as real people though.
Similarities to real people, past or present, are probably design features of the creator with meanings too deep to be discovered.
All creative property used with the creators consent and review.
Any defamation of character is entirely unintentional. If they come across as evil, it’s because they are.
No offence is meant at any point. If I have caused offence, and you are not one of the voices in my head, please let me know and I will amend as soon as possible.
If you are one of the voices in my head, you shouldn’t have nagged so much to get your story told, should you?

---

That’s one thing about my stories; I cannot put on them any guarantee to the truth behind them, but these are all stories I’ve been told. Be it face to face with the teller, in their words and their voice, or by the look when a something particular is mentioned, or by whisper of a god in my ear when I sleep. These tales are all as faithful to the original telling as I can get them; I just put the words to it of they aren’t already there, and that’s my wares for the trading. All I ask is a warm, dry spot to tell them in, and an ear to listen.
Of course, I’ll never say no to a drink or two, to keep my voice fresh, you understand.
