Synopsis: Crash, and others.

This year I am doing lots of short stories and I intend to finish at least one of them as well as some sections of works in progress (of course I will only count what has been written in November for them).

The Short Story 'Crash' begins with my main character running for his life. He was a crew member on a space survey ship when all hell breaks loose, abandon ship is called and the ship explodes. The damaged craft the survivors escape on crash lands on the planet they were about to survey. All goes well for a few days. The planet is earth type so is liveable, and they settle in treating injuries and scouting about for sources of food and water etc. Unfortunately the planet is a bit inimical to large mammalian creatures, as one of the scouting teams finds to it's detriment.

I don't think I will be giving too much away with a quote from one of the unfortunate scouting party:

"It's like the God-dammned Day of the Triffids!"
