Dear Mademoiselle Roché,

Greetings. My name is Edward Manning. I am contacting you on behalf of the British Police Department, who are conducting an investigation as to how a Ms. Rose Marti and a Ms. Fleur-Soleil Marti-Roché died. I understand that these people were once your relatives, yes? You may not remember them. Ms. Fleur Marti-Roché was your sister, and mother to your niece, Lora Fleur Marti-Roché, and Ms. Rose Marti was your mother.
Both of these people died on the seventh of September, 1994 [07/09/94], due to wounds that were too deep for the hospital staff to save them.
I would like to invite you to London, England to further our investigations. We have already notified one of your classmates, Monsieur Christophe LaCroix, that he will also be called in for questioning. If you could bring along your niece, Lora, that would also help further our investigation. We will send details of when you would need to come in another e-mail, though I can tell you that it will be sometime in March/April.
