Synopsis: Where Butterflies Never Die

It starts back when Thirteen finds out she has Huntington's. She doesn't take it so well and her fear of dying begins to show in her work. When she messes up on a patient, House decides to give her some time off by assigning her to keep a dying child company due to his parents having abandoned him in the hospital. He also sends Cameron to watch over things so Thirteen doesn't mess anything up. Thirteen has no idea what to do, so she begins telling the boy a story. Things start to look up for the boy's life and Thirteen begins to have hope for her own. Thirteen, Cameron, and the boy end up in a family like situation. The boy ends up suddenly dying and Thirteen loses all hope. She's contemplating suicide, but Cameron needs to know the rest of the story. So Thirteen begins killing off all the characters thinking there's no one left for her until she realizes that Cameron is there for her.
