The Wars and Battles of Aldebaran (subject to change)
an excerpt

Captain Linez: Ruler of Aldebaran

A dark cloud was over all Aldebaran now. It was one of the darkest clouds ever. It was not a storm, the storm had ended long ago. It was not going to destroy. The revolution had ended long ago.
The battles of the great revolution had ended. Why were people still miserable, then? Why was still the dark cloud in their faces?
The changes could have something to do with those long faces. Before the war, only a great multitude was miserable, now everyone was miserable. Why could that be?
First, Linez had decided that it was a good idea to have a foreign advisor. This seemed as a good plan, since those foreign countries seemed far more developed. And, such, there was installed in the government The White Dinosaur, Sir Isaac.
Sir Isaac brought a lot of changes to Aldebaran. He came with brave speechs about how workers should be treated. He came with ideas of how the worker’s mind worked. And how everything was supposed to work. He said how school should be. He said how work should be. He said how everthing should be. And Aldebaran obeyed. Sir Isaac was now a saint, or at least, deserved to be one.
Then, Captain Linez decided that it was far too expensive for the country to have foreign clothes in it. So, she, as the mighty governor, thought convenient that everyone should wear the same, that was made in Aldebaran. Since it was cheaper, and that way taxes could be wasted in needed things like her expensive car. This way thought Captain Linez, and this way was.
Then, Captain Linez decided to appoint one advisor for each side of government. Each advisor more stupid than the other. They could not discuss with Linez or Arhchaleus. Why would they discuss with them? Their word was law.
Then, captain Linez decided that it was needed to extend labouring time to everyone. So everyone could work more. And gain more. And pay more taxes. So, she decided that all workers were supposed to enter at dawn, and to leave at dusk. And whoever arrived at work a seconds after it was seven, didn’t want to work. And if someone didn’t want to work, he or she wouldn’t. So, whoever didn’t arrive before seven to any factory, would not work that day. But nobody deserved to gain money without money, did they? So, whoevere didn’t come, didn’t receive money. And, if they didn’t arrive some days, by government orders they should be kicked out. This way thought Captain Linez, and this way was.
Soon, Linez heard that there was discomfort in the streets. Discomfort is not a good thing, so she decided that all workers had to sign a contract were all the rules were. This would be a good thing, with fair contracts.
But this were not fair contracts. They had no fair rules. All were responsibilities of the worker. Vague rules. If the employer thought that some rule meant anything, for vague it could be, it meant that. And, of course, they had to sign the ‘contracts’ to keep their works. Or else, most their pay would go down. This way thought Captain Linez, and this way was.
But, it was not enough for Linez. Soon, people were not allowed to leave the country except for certain days. People could not have certain object that would distract them from work. The employers also had received lots of responsibilities. Uneeded responsibilities. Workers were not supposed to play during worktime. Workers were not supposed to go to the bathroom during worktime. Workers were not supposed to talk during worktime. Workers were not supposed to talk during worktime. And, employers should make sure that this way was, or else, things would go worst. This way thought Captain Linez, and this way was.
Soon, Government began to strip houses out of things. Soon, Government decided that hair should be an exact size large. Soon Government was saying when to stand, whent to talk. Soon Government was saying when to sit, and when to shout the mouth.
Because, this way thought Captain Linez, and this way was.
Captain Linez said workers should also instruct themselves. So workers should read some books that Government decided, or else, there would be no pay.
Government decided what to eat, and when to eat it.
Government decided what to buy, and when to buy it.
Government decided what to drink, and when to drink it.
Government decided how to sleep, and to sleep.
Government decided how many sons you should have, and when you should have them.
Governemnt decided how to live, and when to live it.
Wasn’t that what people had asked for? No one was miserable, anymore. Since everybody was miserable, then nobody was more miserable than the other, thus, no one was miserable. That was Captain Linez logic, and as such, it was truth.
Soon, all rules that could be written were written. Soon, people were as opressed as Linez wanted. Soon, there was no longer depression, this was depression.
