Synopsis: Murder on the Brazos
I am writing the ending to the novel I completed last year. When I have ended it, I will begin a sequel.
Excerpt: Murder on the Brazos
Ezra turned back to the three standing by him. “Robbie, you stay here with Freddie. Don’t let him go anywhere. If he needs the bathroom, get the jailer to take him. Pretend you’re concerned for his health, but don’t let him out of the sight of either you or the jailer. Got that?
“Come on, Bill,” he went on as he rushed out the door, “something’s going on, and I don’t like the sound of it.”
A minute later Bill and Ezra were speeding west toward the Snow Ranch. About five minutes after that Nancy reported that Judy had turned into her place and was headed for her house.
