Synopsis: Moonlighting

Abagail Beck has dreamed of Paris her entire life. She scrimped, and saved, and took extra French lessons with a teacher she really loathed. But when she's accepted into the American University of Paris, it's like everything she's ever wanted has come true.

New (gorgeous) city, new (rich) friends, new...magical powers?

One of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong.

Trapped between trying to uphold her picturesque Parisian life, and drawn into a fight that she feels isn't her own, Abagail is torn in two very different directions. How can she possibly be asked to balance studying and patrolling the French rooftops? Is it fair that she has to abandon her date for a battle she doesn't want?

But there are forces at work that Abagail has yet to understand. Somebody else out there is moonlighting...Someone who's intentions are not nearly so noble.
