Synopsis: I Love you to Death

You might have heard of me. I'm sure you did. I'm the Little Mermaid. The foolish young mermaid who died for the love of a prince who didn't love her. Yes I died for him, but he did love me. I didn't die, I went on to the next stage of my life. The gods that my prince worshipped gave me the gift of being a spirit, for the love I've shown, I became a guardian spirit for those who pray to the sea gods. I guide those faithful souls with a safe passage on their ships, but I send the angry winds after you if you displease my water god. I am Devi. But I wasn't always called that. I begin my story when I was called Callie the youngest princess of the sea King. The king with no god.
