Synopsis: Poisoned Memories

Prequel to last year's submission 'Roads'. Follow the lives of Aki, Cale, Axl, Uri, Eoin, Daire, and Amaaya before and after they met Alex in Roads.

Story 1: Ghosts and Shadows: Cale Matthews was a happy child. He had a loving mother and father, an adorable little brother he would do anything for, and the best friend a boy could have. Then, he meets his mother's father and his world is forever shattered. One thing leads to another and Cale finds himself stumbling down a dark road.

Story 2: (Axl) Bullet Rain: From his first memory, Axl has had a hard life. After the death of his parents, his grandparents abandoned him to the cold streets. To survive, Axl must do terrible things. He thinks that he might find refuge in a local gang, but will the White Wolves bring him salvation, or even more heartache?

Story 3: (Amaaya) A Blue Dragon: After the death of her monster of a father, Amaaya becomes consumed by violence. In a world that does not care for her sorrow, she trains herself to fight. When she finally finds something worth protecting, she believes that she can finally be free of her dark past, but will fate just circle back on her in the end?

Story 4: (Aki) Falling Snow: Aki and his sister, Haruna, are on the run from their family and certain death. They flee their naitive Japan, but instead of finding haven in the more down-to-earth America, they only find more hate and death. Can young Aki possibly survive in this unfamiliar, cold world?

Story 5: (Eoin and Daire) Choices: Eoin and Daire are identical twins, but the love they share for each other is far from brotherly. Eoin suddenly finds himself at a crossroads and must make a choice: either admit to Daire that he is in love with him and destroy both their lives, or sacrifice his soul and suffer forever in silence. Can he keep his family together, while forever denying his desires?

Story 6: (Uri) Trial by Fire: In his childhood, Uri made a grave mistake that cost the lives of not only his parents, but also his twin brother, Kit. Unable to let go, Uri punishes himself by denying himself any companionship. However, this changes when he joins a mercenary group and finds himself guarding a woman who just won't leave him alone. Will history repeat itself or will Uri finally be able to hold something?
