I give in to this feeling in the pit of my stomach and the breeze down the curve of my back sending a soothing chill through my spine.
I give in.
Give in to the feeling of complete and total calm I receive after every kiss from lips upon which I’ve left deposits my heart, until it was no longer my own.
I give in.
Give in to chemistry of two drawn together by a force greater than them, ignoring concepts of right and wrong as all else becomes irrelevant and all that matters is what’s before me.
I give in.
Give in to the unknown, believing that the fullness of knowing will be as seductive as its prelude, as enchanting as its lyrics, and as satisfying as its courtship.
I give in to love.
Now I’m praying it gives in to me.
