As soon as I turned the nearest corner I snatched out my cell phone and threw it open. I had just pushed the first button when I heard, right beside me,
“No.”
I jumped.
The man who had been watching me reached out and took my cell phone, shutting it without taking his eyes off me.
“You don’t need to do that right now.” He said.
I bolted.
I went a total of two steps before he caught me.
I screamed.
His hand landed over my mouth.
I tried to kick his leg.
He caught the back of my foot with the toe of his boot.
Ouch.
I struggled.
He automatically tightened his grip.
I stopped.
He began dragging me back to where the others were.
