Luke nodded and walked inside. “Hey Calley,” he said going closer to her bed.
“so you did come?” she asked with surprise amusement, “I did not really think that you would.”
For some odd strange out there reason that hit him below the belt. “Why wouldn’t I come?”
“Because it would be to your advantage to have me dead, if I was I would not be causing you any more trouble would I?”
He sighed and took the chair nearest the bed. “But do you really think I want you dead? A world without Calley Stone is like a world without the Beatles. That world would suck.”
