Darkness Falling
an excerpt

That’s about the time it started happening; I started losing time. I said I never wasted time, which I didn’t, but I did lose it. I lost a lot of it. I would never remember anything about the time I lost except the image of a circle. It was like the beam of a flashlight on a sheet of black, except instead of light and dark, it was everything and nothing.
When I would finally “come to” I’d find myself always in a black robe, with a new symbol bleeding from my skin. I assumed it had something to do with the exorcisms I had began taking part in during that semester. I was part of a group of 4 others who had learned to allow ourselves to be possessed only so that we could exorcise the entity.
