Synopsis: The Seventh Hourglass

Several years ago, a group of seven amateur archaeologists were working on a dig when they uncovered an exciting discovery. A hard wooden box carved with intricate designs. The box was opened and the team rejoyced at the sight of the golden statuettes held within. Moments later, the camera connection cut off. The archaeologists were never found and the entire dig site was cleared of any artifacts, presumably by looters.

Authorities noticed a sharp increase in missing persons reports and scenes that could only be murder scenes during the years following the event. People were regularly found in their beds, dead of no apparent cause, their eyes matted shut. James Marie, working in his home as an editor and short story writer, was coming to terms about his recent divorce and learning how to be a single father after he gained custody of his six year old daughter. Meanwhile, he found himself plagued by fatigue and spending more and more time with a woman he met at a club. Now he finds himself watching his own life over the past two years and makes the shocking discovery that he has died multiple times.
