“Captain, we’re being hailed”

Sheehan and T’Pon shared a glance, “Onscreen... This is Captain Don Sheehan of the USS Raal.”

The face that appeared in screen was that of a young Jatohan adolescent. “Um... Hi...” She glanced uneasily to the side, “The Captain should be here any minute... um... just don’t go anyhere.”

A young human male moved into view, “O’Shanna...” He leaned over and whispered to the girl.

“Yes... The captains on his way.” She grinned.

T’Pon reached over to the captain’s armrest and pressed the control to mute the outgoing audio... “Captain...”

The captain leaned over and whispered to T’Pon, “Did he just call her O’Shanna?”

“Yes, I believe he did.” T’Pon’s forehead was slightly furrowed as she studied the screen.

“As in, ‘Admiral O’Shanna.’”

“Yes.”

“That’s hardly a traditional Jatohan name. What are the odds...”

“I wouldn’t even begin calculate.”

“T’Pon, that’s so unlike you.”

T’Pon ignored his comment and continued to study the figures on screen, “What’s more, I think that young man is Jacob Evans.”

“That’s... not... possible...” Captain Sheehan said drawing out each word.

But then the line between possibility and impossibility was erased all together when a familiar face, to both the captain and first officer, stepped into view.

“This is Captain Solan of the USS Amery.”
