Brief Author Bio:

I've always loved writing, but decied to pursue my other passion as a academic and career choice--science. I'm a college physics teacher who teases my right side of the brain by writing fiction and nonfiction. Recently I went back to school to pursue an MFA in creative writing and I'm loving it. I tend to write a lot about teaching science and that way indulge both my interests. I also write women's fiction, sometimes romance, and love the creative process of putting together a plot, creating characters and see them take over the page. Which is usually what happens when I write fiction.

My first year of NaNo was the most liberating writing experience I've ever had. For the first time, my internal editor was silent and I was completely caught up in a cloud of creative energy. I'm hoping to do that again.
