We always hope the world will discover new peoples among the stars that are friendly, and wish to be our friends. We also fear those people will be enemies, bent on taking over our pathetic little planet. Fifteen years ago, our hopes were fulfilled. We discovered a group of planets to be our friends, and we spread out to join them. Then, eight years later, our fears were realized. An empire formed of over one hundred planets discovered ours, and decided it would make a fine addition. Now, six years later, Earth is fighting for her existence, and her people spread across the stars.
