Excerpt: Keuse
He wakes up to the smell of bacon. Gen has made a fire from -- well, he isn't sure what. But there is definitley a fire, and Gen is definitley cooking on it. Cooking what, specifically? Bacon. Yes indeedy.
"Why are you making bacon?" asks Snow, so completley baffled he can't really form a concise sentence.
"To make pancakes," replies Gen, perfectly logical.
"....What?" asks Snow.
"You didn't bring any butter," explains the ninja, which really doesn't explain anything at all.
"....Butter melts in the desert," points out Snow.
The ninja pauses for a moment, considering this. "But you're magical."
Snow throws up his hands and returns to the logicalness of his tent. It is fortunate for all involved that he doesn't hear Gen snicker when his nice, logical tent collapses on him. All in all, however, it is not a good start to the day. Not a good start indeed.
