Brief Author Bio:

I'm 21 years old. I've been writing stories since I can remember (most of the stories I wrote didn't make sense even to a six year old). I love vamps, wolves, necros... They star in most of my stories. I mostly write intrigue, suspense, mystery, fantasy and romance. -- This'll be my second year in NaNoWriMo. In 2007, I got slammed with a ton of class work that (at the time) was a little higher on my list of things to do, but I still got about 12,000 words out before I had to quit. This year'll be different!

Synopsis: Shadows of the Night

I will actually be finishing my novel I started a in September. And it's actually more of a "dark, urban fantasy, mystery and suspense," but I could only pick one.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rhen Hathorne has been working in New Salem Homicide for the last five years, hiding a deadly secret from everyone who knows her. She's been cursed by her blood witch family and has seen the destruction of it first hand, three months ago when she beat a perp to near death. On her first day back after a three month suspension she’s assigned a case that should be easy enough, but when she meets her number one suspect, things get a little tricky. Especially since he’s a bloodsucking vampire pimp who not only has ties to her vics but has a shady past as well.

With a new ADA that she can’t take her eyes off of, the murder case becomes another distraction between lust, love and truth. Now bodies are starting to pile up all with inexplicable 'blackh' markings, and leads that come right back to her threaten to send her back into her destructive madness. Is she really crazy? Or is there enough sanity left inside of her to figure out the truth before it’s too late?
