Synopsis: The End of the Road

Mikaela is like any teen across the Minnesota region of the United States of America. In the respect that she's a senior in high school, learning to live with what life gives her, as well as hoping to graduate on time with the rest of her class. Though with everything else, Mikaela is learning she has to be able to successfully maintain the grades, friends, and family that over the years she's built. It's of course, not an easy task, but one in which she's successfully gotten through in the past, and one by which she doe not think she'll lose sight of anytime in the near future.

That near future however, might come quicker then what she was originally expecting. After a series of unfortunate events, Mikaela finds herself walking home from school with her younger sister one afternoon. Though what started out as a normal walk home, turned out to be much more then that. Just near her house, Mikaela spots a young girl – no older then seven – in the middle of the street. However, this girl does not have what most would call a happy demeanor, Mikaela becomes immediately curious about her. The only problem is, upon mentioning her to her sister Kelsey, Mikaela finds she's the only one who can actually see the girl.

And to make things weirder, with each passing day, the girl appears more frequently, in that very same street Mikaela originally saw her in. Curious as to who this girl is, and why she's the only one who can see her, Mikaela is on her own journey, one that will leave her with an important discovery. As she comes closer to this girl, it's evident that there are thee options: The girl is leading Mikaela and her sister to their own death, she is leading the two of them to a mystery that will uncover certain truths, or simply that Mikaela is hallucinating.

One thing is for sure, whatever the girl wants, it will lead Mikaela to the end of the road.
