Excerpt: It Could Have Been the End
Shortly after the accident I began to realize just how differently I needed to do things, and just how much I needed the Lord. I had grown up in Church, and I always felt I was a believer, but I was breezing through life, with barely a passing thought of what I was doing, and what the Lord was doing in my life. I rarely prayed to him for guidance any more, and that childlike faith that I had before was gone. I guess I felt now that I was an adult, on my own, I needed to shed that faith to, but how wrong had I been.
