An elven girl, tired of being discriminated against and in search of someone, runs away from her town. She is found, wounded, by a human, and he takes her back to his town until she is healed. After explaining her situation, he lets her stay. As the war front approaches, tension rises, and everyone realizes that nothing and no one is safe. Unless he is defeated...

Prologue
From the first time he saw her, he knew that she was the one. How could he deny it? The way she moved stuck in his mind and wouldn’t go away. Seeing her, and not having her, was like a poison to him, a poison that could not be cured. He couldn’t take it anymore.
Looking away from the orb, he broke the connection. Subconsciously, he knew what he was going to do tonight was wrong. But the way he was raised taught him otherwise. He could take whatever he wanted, and he wanted her.
