I should start off by telling you: this is not a self-help book. I have certainly not discovered the magic bullet that will make my problems go away. This is more of a confessional, a collection of embarrassing stories leading up to my diagnosis with bipolar diagnosis. Why would I share embarrassing stories with you, a perfect stranger? I don’t know. To make you feel better, I guess. It’s always helpful to know that at least one person is a little more messed in the head than you are, and I am a benevolent person.
