Brief Author Bio: I'm currently doing my first year of A Levels, so like many NaNoers, I'm quite busy. I'm going to give NaNo my best shot this year, after copping out last year because of coursework and a weak plot. I'm writing this five weeks before NaNo starts, and as of now, I'm still toying with two completely separate novel ideas. I've got time to finalize! I live in the North East of England, and I will (hopefully!) be attending every meet-up in the area, so I hope to meet lots more local writers! |

Synopsis: X-Why
The world has been drastically altered, it is ruled and inhabited solely by women, there are no men left in existence, and it wasn't caused by accident or disease. Hell? Or perhaps paradise.
Michelle Wren is not the revolutionary figure of her great-grandmother: she did not pass laws assuring no males could be created with transbioformation, a process that can change sex cells from their natural state, and usurp the usefulness of men, but she does live in the glory of her ancestor's success. Michelle's grandmother lived a century ago, and now, in 2167, men are an extinct species.
Women like Michelle ensure the future of [em]transbioformation[/em], working for the good of women everywhere in the Public Relations department of TranscendTM. Science, however, has not advanced as described in TranscendTM's literature, and nothing will stop Michelle from discovering the truth, when she catches a glimpse of the lies.
