Synopsis: Legend

Recovering from the aftermath of her last trek across the world, Christina Cortes was ready to settle in to her confirment once again only to have the past come knocking.

A woman who cames have the last Melantha Hooper's lost soul appears at her door. With her comes the final piece to a puzzle Christina had been working on since she first visited Mexico.

To solve both mysteries, Christina must break the rules, political and moral, return to the illfated temple and dive deep into history.

Excerpt: Legend

Christina spun the stone in her fingers. Why wold Melantha had keep this one stone? If she had truely sold all the artifacts that had been shipped out of Mexico, then what was so special about this one?

Suddenly Christina stopped and stared. the pattern on the emerald suddenly looked familiar. She took out the other emeralds that had been found in the Bay of Algiers and looked them over. LIke a jigsaw puzzle she moved them around.

It was a picture.

No a map.

"Oh my god." She whispered. She was looking at a map made by the Aztecs of the lost island of Bermeja
