Brief Author Bio:

Born in Toledo, OH and then to school at Indiana University to flirt with several majors, none of which would make me marketable in the real world one little bit. Finished with Anthro (archaeology) and Japanese, and, feeling very proud of my independence in choosing what inspired me, I ambled off to find how life as an unemployed, well rounded critical thinker would be. I postponed life for Japan, and while considering whether to pursure grad school or a career in firefighting (my desire since high school), I drank away my twenties in Tokyo. I think (if I could remember some of it) I probably had a very enlightening time. A good use for that high minded, well rounded liberal arts education, in any light. Wasn't a total wash.

I eventually found my way home, went back to school, and chose the firefighting route. I haven't looked back since.

Except to note that all the artistic passions I had when I was young were not getting stimulated. Then, out of no where, my old college buddy Fograsher was found to be living quite close to my new home. He introduced me to Nano, and here I am writing again, and loving the opportunity.
