Synopsis: Who Killed the Messenger

On an autumn day in 1943, the sleepy town of Erving, Massachusetts awakes to find that things are no longer what they seem. Millicent Faust has been raped, the accusation has been written over town square, and someone is to blame. Signs immediately point to Peter St. Claire, an unlikely stranger who has come to Erving in hopes of burying a troubled past. And as allegations turn to action, lives are left hanging in the balance, but with reasonable doubt. What is the truth, and what are we willing to conceal to protect others…and ourselves?
